In an era where connection can often feel fleeting, the inaugural Stuff to Do Fair in Lancaster stands as a testament to the power of community. Held on January 25, 2025 at Tec Centro West, this event was the brainchild of Sav Thorpe Capizzi, who sought to create a space reminiscent of college job fairs but tailored to adults seeking local activities, clubs, or generally just stuff to do.

“This was just an idea I had,” Thorpe Capizzi remembered. “So I started sending emails and wouldn’t you know it, people thought it was a good idea.”

Imagine a big open room with a bunch of tables, dozens of clubs, organizations, and businesses, and hundreds of people milling around, chatting, meeting others, learning about stuff you can do, right here in Lancaster.

Sav partnered up with State Representative Izzy Smith Wade-El and Tec Centro to help turn this idea, into reality. Sav was kind enough to invite So Good Lancaster and The Candy Factory to participate. So, of course, we grabbed our microphones and headed over to Tec Centro West for the very first Stuff To Do Fair. We were lucky enough to chat with over a dozen of the organizations who were on hand. Here’s the lineup!
