Art and the City: Ruby Mundok, Katherine Horst, Malia Burris Harvesting Creativity and Black Friday

by | Nov 2, 2026 | Art + The City, So Good Lancaster Podcast

The month of gratitude is here! Welcome to November from Lancaster, PA.

The month kicks off with an art show on First Friday called Harvesting Creativity at the mother ship, The Candy Factory (TCF). This show is curated by TCF artist in residence, Malia Burris, who fills us in on the details.

Katherine Horst, Horst Arts Center and Makers, joins us for some suggested shows to check out around the county. During the first half of November, the Lancaster County Art Association in Strasburg celebrates 90 years with a show called the 90/90 Exhibit in their Steinmetz Gallery until November 12. Then later in the month, on Black Friday, Red Raven rolls out their Art4Everyone event, which includes timed entry to peruse hundreds of 4×4 pieces by local artists.

Ruby Mundok, Tourism Marketing Manager for Lancaster City breaks down the City’s holiday season events starting with the mayor’s Tree Lighting on Black Friday! There’s a whole host of city events planned through the end of the year.

In the month of gratitude, we’re thankful for each and every one of you for supporting So Good Lancaster.

Thanks for listening!
